Legend, Keep up the good work. Road trips are tough, even tho' I haven't really had one yet. Had a camping trip with Sweetheart and made it through that one. Well, 30 degrees in a tent can kill anyone's desire to smoke! LOL C'mon group, let's keep this post near the top so we can find us in a hurry! Hope it's sunny and 80 where you are....its 30 and raining like crazy here...all the way to Wednesday! Holler if you need help. Nice to see everyone is safe. Day one of my road trip over, I haven't had a smoke, although I've had plenty of opportunity...especially now, sitting in my hotel room with nothing to do. Nurse, waytogo! Knew you would whip it this time...Changing, saw your post the other day wondering if it would get better, I've got to believe it will. I'm just trusting the non-smokers with more mileage under their belts...Whynot, I'm glad you couldn't stay away, you're too much fun. Tutti, cheer up! It could be worse, you could have quit in March, and than you'd be a March Mellow! Quilt has half-a-century, yoohoo! rtchick, haven't heard from you, hope all is well. MomMom, what can I say, you are HOT! Well, if you were all here, I'd take y'all down to the bar and buy you beverages. Safer to stay in my room tonight. later, Legend My Milage: My Quit Date: 2/25/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 48 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 293 Amount Saved: $60 Life Gained: Days: 8 Hrs: 3 Mins: 23 Seconds: 29

Hey everyone...what are we doing down at the bottom of the page?? Just popping in....oh what am I saying...I just couldn't stay away. I just have not been posting :) Anyway...wanted to say a few things.... CallMeMomMom - CONGRATULATIONS!!!! Today you are on day 60 :) Way to go! Nurse29 - I am so happy you did not give in to the nicodemon when you were out to darts! What a great job showing everyone how strong you are. Now we can just hope hubby decides to follow your lead. And great going on 50 days :) Changing - It sounds like you are doing great!! You are giving some wonderful advice, and it was hard won I know...but look at you, just one more sleep and you are at 50 :) LOL Way to Go!! I am so proud of all us February Quitters for standing together against this horrible addiction. What a great thing we have done, for us and everyone around us. Who knows how many people we are affecting each and every day with our quit, those who dont say anything at all. Afterall, look how much the old timers have affected our lives and our quits. We should all be very proud of ourselves!! Keep your quits strong guys, it's so worth it. Nurse, You tell SIL that I have Wellbutrin to share...but he has to promise that he will go through NEXT POOL NIGHT without smoking. He can have every pill I have, and I will even pay for his next Wellbutrin Rx. But he has to go through a Wednesday night smoke free! No bummin, nada, zilch, zero! If he can do one night, he can do them all. If he smokes....well,.....what? You decide. Or maybe we just have to accept that he doesn't want to quit. We can only support ourselves, and those who want to quit more than they want to smoke. The Chantix was enough for me. I only got the Wellbutrin as an appetite suppressant, and it wasn't real effective. (guess maybe you have to actually swallow it?) Maybe he should try another aid? The patch may work for him, and you can't smoke while wearing it! Talk to him (be gentle) about trying something different that may be more effective for him, if he really wants to quit. Your cold-turkey approach is more than I was willing to try! You ROCK! 50 Big'uns! I am so proud (as always) Luvs ya babycakes! Haha thanks. It wasn't actually my first smoke-free pool night. It was the first one after my slip. And yes, I went around my work this morning bragging I was on day 50. :) As for hubby, I've told him that by smoking he is jeopardizing my quit. I don't know what his deal is. Wait'll my 'no drinking' rule goes into effect a couple weeks from now! Then I have no idea what he'll do on pool nights...besides sit home! LOL Anyway, yep...I made it. I must go to sleep now because I'm due back at work in--ugh, 9 hours! YEA NURSE!!! Good for you! You've proven that on Wednesday nights you can have fun playing pool without smoking! Now about your husband....(1) Can't he get a refill of the Wellbutrin? (2) He said he'd do anything to help protect your quit...well, what if you told him that his smoking is jeopardizing your quit? You've got a lot to celebrate & be proud of - You had your first smoke-free Pool Night Look at your Quit Meter --- 50 DAYS!!! My Milage: My Quit Date: 2/24/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 48 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 1,693 Amount Saved: $312 Life Gained: Days: 4 Hrs: 1 Mins: 40 Seconds: 58
