mercy,
When I read your post about obsession and cancer, these verses came to mind. I'm sure they are written on your heart but sometimes we need little reminders :)
For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind. (2 Timothy 1:7)
Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. (Phillipians 4:6-7)
and
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. (Galatians 5:22-23a)
I know you know but obsessing ain't from God ;) If going to your doctor will put your mind at ease, please do but you are in hands much bigger than your doctor's either way.
All the best,
Sandra
