Monica, ((((((((more big HUGGZZZZZZZ))))))))))))
I'm so glad for you and for your lucky husband that you did not to the store!!!!! You have more strength than you give yourself credit for. You are doing an amazing job.
If it helps to know, I do understand your fears and the nitty gritty of what needs to be done. I went through years of health ordeals with both my parents. Fortunately my Mother survived her stroke, but my Father's suffering did not greatly prolong his life. It was at times the worst of the worst and strangely the best of the best. Sometimes I literaly shook in my boots not knowing how to pull through it all. Looking back, I have but one regret, and of course it is that I spent at least 10-20 minutes of every hour of precious time I had to help or comfort them, outside smoking.
Riverdale Man is right on the money in everything he says. Ride that wave and you will soon be back onshore.
Take care of yourself, be good to yourself and trust in yourself that no matter what difficulties lie ahead, you do have what it takes to get it done (without a cigarette in your hand or on your mind holding you back).
Keep us posted please,
Pat
