Aren't you glad to know that you don't have to do everything, and you can still be quit? Beb, many quitters do, but some don't. I didn't cough up gobs of stuff right after I quit, but have been getting little bits all along. I've had a chest x-ray and all is well, so don't get too concerned if you don't fit the mold. Sometimes unique is good! :) If you are concerned, you should discuss it with your doctor to be sure. Congratulations on 11 smoke-free days, Beb. Beb, I never went through the coughing or related goo. Here is a thread that will give you more than you ever could have wanted on the topic. Beb, Everyone's body is different. How your body reacts to the quit will be different as well. You can expect many symptoms that can last a few weeks, and some members have not received very many at all :) If you experience a symptom that lasts longer than expected than please contact your doctor to rule out anything medical. Keep Strong, Josie _____________________ The SSC Support Team.
