I keep telling myself that I am a non smoker. Every time the thought of cigarettes comes up in my mind, I flush it right out and think, that is silly JerLasVegas, you don't smoke.
I do the same thing with drinking. In fact, I have gone a step further and subconciously associated many terrible nasty things with smoking and drinking. It's great living without it. Now I just need to continue to have the patience to get through every day!
I quit smoking on July 6, 2006 at 6:00pm.
It has been 6 days, 20 hours, 5 minutes, and 3 seconds since I quit.
Had I not quit smoking, I would have:
* Smoked 137 cigarettes (That's like smoking a 46 foot long cigarette)
* Spent $29.26 on cigarettes
* Inhaled 1.37 grams of tar
* Inhaled 109 mg of nicotine (That's like doing 2,051 hits of nicotine)
* Inhaled 1.50 grams of carbon monoxide
* Taken an additional 20 hours, 13 minutes, and 56 seconds off my life
