Don't close the beach!!! There is too much history here....and too many who are working their way to get here.
Over the past year that I have been on the site, there have been at various times, flare-ups and misunderstandings. Part of this is just human nature, part of this is the fact that we are all a little bit nuts as we go through withdrawal. That does not excuse our behavior, but it does help to sometimes explain it.
Several here on the site have publicly acknowledged their parts in creating a negative atmosphere. (for example see Bob's Duffism post) Yes we need to think before we post. But more importantly, we need to realize that each of us is human and we need to show compassion, understanding and forgiveness for errors in judgement.
Just as we would not give up on our life's relationships because of a misunderstanding or blow-up, noone should give up on this site or on their quit because of it happening here. If they do, there is something else going on.
Please stay Mr. Ed. Cuddles is on her way here soon. So are Joonie and Bingo and Babs, and a whole cruise ship full of people just waiting our in the straits. These folks need welcoming and a party to celebrate their arrival. They need YOUR experienced hand at the grill and for arranging activites.
By the way, congratulations on your 162 days. You have an awesome quit going.
