Thank you all for your kind words. 100 days ago, I would have bet the farm that I could not stop smoking. My addiction was just too powerful to overcome. I had all the excuses, and if those excuses failed, I would make some up. I remember on November 16th, the day before i did quit, I made a post here saying I was going to wait until after the holidays to stop smoking. Many people replied to my post saying that once the holidays passed, I would then find another excuse to not to quit. I thought about that, and it was so true. My whole smoking life (33+ years) I always had an excuse for not quitting. I woke up on November 17th and decided to stick to my guns and beat this damn addiction. So far - So good. It has been one of the best things I have ever done. I feel liberated and guilt-free. It feels great to be an ex-smoker. I wish to thank everyone here who has given me encouragement when I had doubts. Your words helped me right the ship and stay on point. My family is so proud of me, that means more to me than anything. My Reward - I am 3 months away from being a FIRST time Grandpa! The beach has a nice fragrance that's for sure! :) Thanks again everyone. tonight I will be sitting in the new hot tub, beer in hand and thanking you all for your valued help and words of wisdom.
